"Supplier Selection Decision Support System: A Case Study in Malaysian Hypermarket"

Abstract - This paper attempt to classify the criteria in supplier selection, and to provide the decision maker with a systematic decision support system, based on a combination of multi criteria and application of modified Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) integrated model. A modified AHP used for measuring supply chain efficiency and structured in four stages. In the first stage, data are gathered and used to construct a hierarchical model for supplier selection represented by the AHP. This is followed by determining the criteria to be used in evaluation and weighted for each criterion. The third stage specifies SCOR evaluation and finally the implementation of decision making is provided. Supplier selection is being practiced in organizations’ supply chain managements with the need to modernize in the decision support system to fit the nature of selection processes. The results amplify the most appropriate decision-making providing the implication of novelty development of new integrated approach. Finally, this paper provide practitioners at personal or professional setting to achieve a success of the holistic approach in future decision support system.

"The Integration of AHP-SCOR Model in Supplier Selection: A Case Study of Giant Hypermarket in Malaysia"

Abstract: Supplier selection is the most crucial element in hypermarket’s supply chain system. This paper verify the past research framework of supplier selection criteria by developing a supplier selection decision support system (DSS) based on the modified Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with integrated Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model. Literature analysis is executed in the area of supplier selection DSS and methodology is presents to develop a theoretical model essential. A combined theory model for the supplier selection employed the typical stages of supplier selection process: data gathering, AHP calculation, SCOR evaluation, and implementation of decision making. As increase in market’s competitive edge, highlight current hypermarket situation of selection criteria for choosing of the best supplier, especially with regards to improving the competitiveness of the whole supply chain system. The results amplify the most appropriate decision-making providing the implication of novelty development of new integrated approach. This new model attempts to provide practitioners at personal or professional setting to achieve a success of the holistic approach in future decision support system.

ok back to the story.. somewhere on april 2010, ade la one nite tue dari lepak ramai2 tinggal la bertiga, saye@machoman, wan and nan.. suddenly, one of us suggested to shoot a short film gune dslr.. why not!!!!!!! so ktrg start la draft part2 n angle nk shooting.. mlm tue gaks ktrg shoot bertiga jew as pre-shooting.. pastu tmrw baru keco2 kt kaum2 yg ktrg nk wat short film..

saturday nite tue ramai la kaum2 kt scene yg ktrg nk shoot tue.. because of ramai sgt crowd so we cant start shooting as wut we've planned.. so kne la tunggu tgh2 mlm sket baru bole shoot..

Amazement Birthday 2011

its Saturday 28th May 2011, 2 days before my actual birthday.. having had a routine weekend lepaking with frens.. evening: kring kring kring kring........ (dug & din) called and insisted to fetch me and ina, like now.. Like unsuspicious for nothin' will happen, fetched us and make it four of us for “matpen or selfish” weekend (maknenye xde la lepak ramai2 just ktrg berempat jew).. :p

In car “blaa blaa blaaaaaa hehehehe kuikuikui huhuhhuuu~” then I asked “nak ke mana kite nie?” Dug answered “jumpe org sat kt Suzi’s Corner sementare tu kte pekene teh dlu kt sane” what a nice idea to utilized my weekend with at least some activity.
After 1++ hour lepaking then baru konon2nyee plan dinner at ampang lookout point. Again, nice idea!! Food-food kt up there pun not bad gaks isnt. As one might expect, we arrive at the location and………….
